How To Develop A Personal Brand That Grows With Your Business

When you first start your business, your personal brand may feel like an extension of yourself—who you are, what you stand for, and why you’re on this journey. But as your business grows and shifts, so will the story you tell. A personal brand that once felt perfect might no longer fully represent your vision today.

Building a personal brand that grows with your business means being willing to adapt while staying rooted in your core values. It’s a powerful tool to connect with your audience authentically, no matter where your business journey takes you.

Here’s how to develop a personal brand that grows with you.

Start With Your Core Values And Vision

Your personal brand should start from a foundation of what matters most to you. Your core values are the constants that should remain even as your business evolves. Start by identifying these values and weaving them into your brand messaging, website, and social media content.

Your core values are your north star. When you know the impact you want to create, your brand can reflect that purpose, making it easier to pivot as your business expands or your market shifts.

Try It Out: Write down three to five core values and a single sentence that sums up your vision. Keep these visible as a reminder.

Own Your Story As It Grows With You

A compelling personal brand tells a story, not just about what you do but about who you are and why you’re passionate about your work. Your background, challenges, and unique perspective are all part of this story.

As your business changes, don’t be afraid to update your brand story to reflect new growth, insights, and milestones.

Sharing your journey as it unfolds helps people connect with you. Remember, people want to do business with those that they know, like, and trust!

Try It Out: Revisit your “About” page and your bio to make sure they reflect where you are in your journey and any new lessons you’ve learned.

Keep A Consistent Visual Identity

As your brand evolves, you may feel the need to refresh your logo, website, color palette, or other elements of your visual identity. However, consistency is key here

When you refresh your visuals, look for ways to honor your existing brand identity while bringing in elements that reflect your current direction. This could mean updating your brand colors to feel more sophisticated, adding new photography that captures your evolving style, or updating your website layout for a more professional feel.

Try It Out: Review your brand’s visuals. Ask yourself if they still reflect the message and personality you want to convey. Make small updates rather than a total overhaul unless there’s a significant shift in your business.

How Ava Stayed Nimble with AT&T Internet Air for Business

Today we are pleased to welcome a guest writer to our space,

This sponsored post was provided to us by Zoya Cochran, Principal Digital Customer Growth, AT&T

Ava’s fashion brand was on the rise—and so were her demands as a business owner. With AT&T Business Fiber™ powering her design studio, she has already experienced a positive improvement with the fast, reliable internet.

Her next expansion is opening a temporary studio space in a trendy part of town, but to her dismay, fiber was not yet available in the building.

That is when she discovered AT&T Internet Air for Business™—a powerful solution that delivered high-speed, secure internet over AT&T’s wireless network. It was the perfect answer for her growing business.

AT&T Internet Air for Business uses fixed wireless technology—like how your cellphone connects but designed to power business operations. Ava simply plugged in a compact router (about the size of a textbook), and just like that, her new studio was online. No waiting. No wires. No headaches.

She can stay connected to her design software in the cloud, communicate with vendors, accept payments, and collaborate with her team from her pop-up space.

Ava also saw the value in using it as a backup connection. Even though her primary studio had fiber, she wanted to ensure nothing would disrupt her customer experience. With AT&T Internet Air for Business in place, her point-of-sale system and timekeeping apps had a failover path if needed. That gave her peace of mind—and one less thing to worry about.

Whether for fast setup, added reliability, or more flexibility, AT&T Internet Air for Business empowered Ava to scale with confidence.

After all, it is backed by the same network experts and 5G infrastructure that helped launch her journey in the first place.

Profitable Pricing That Reflects Your True Value

Today, we are excited to welcome Markey Read, one of our Premier Success Coaches, to the eWomenNetwork blog as our guest writer. In the article below, Markey shares a formula we can use to ensure our pricing reflects our true value. Welcome, Markey!

Profitable pricing is more than guessing a number or matching market standards; it's about reflecting the true worth of your expertise and attracting clients who value the solutions you provide. Undercharging leaves money on the table and undermines your professional credibility.

Step 1: Establish Your Baseline with Cost of Services Sold (COSS)

What does it cost you to deliver your high-quality services? Understanding your baseline costs is an important first step in elevating your pricing strategy. This includes hard costs like software and professional fees. It’s also important to factor in intangible costs such as your time and education.

Add Up Your Professional Expenses:

Certification or license renewal fees

Memberships, subscriptions, or industry journals

Continuing education and conferences

Tools, software, and other essentials

Value of your Services: To find your Value of Services, add up your professional expenses to get the basis of your COSS. Understanding your COSS is the first step to truly embodying the value of your time and expertise.

Consider Your Experience Investment:  Remember to factor in the intangible value of your education, training, and real-world application when calculating your value.

Marley’s Wise Words: The more expertise and wisdom you can share, the more value you bring to your clients.

5 Tips to Create an Irresistible Landing Page

Now that Success Reimagined: Disruptive Impact had wrapped up, I think we can all agree that landing pages are at the front of our minds, right? If you attended Success Reimagined, then you are well aware of the importance of landing pages and how they differ from your regular website. That being the case, let’s take a look at the top things you can do to create a successful landing page.

Decide on a singular focus or goal. Remember, unlike your website, your landing page has one goal: conversion. This isn’t the place to tell your prospect your life story or give a laundry list of your offerings. Decide what your goal is and keep it about that. If you want to capture email addresses, everything on your landing page should work toward that. Leave the extras for another time and place. Your call to action must be desirable and CLEAR.

Keep your copy concise and compelling. Less is more. People don’t read, they skim. Now, don’t get too excited, less copy doesn’t mean it’s easier, it means you have to do more with less. Consider hiring a copywriter or an editor to work with you on this. Your landing page copy should be about what’s in it for them, not what's in if for you. Objectivity is your friend, so don’t be afraid to bring in those unbiased experts.

Prioritize those visuals at the top of the page. A landing page is a different animal than a website, so you can’t assume people will scroll. That “above the fold” space is prime real estate. Because that space at the top of the landing page is so important, this is where video can be a huge help to you.  If you opt for video, you can do great things as far as saving space, keeping your message clear, and minimizing use of copy on the page.

Consider professional video production versus zoom recording. If you want people to invest in you, only use video when you can show yourself in your best light. Social media is a great place for casual and relatable content, on your landing page, aim for a more polished approach.

Top notch tech. Your page must be flawless. People are quick to close the window these days! If your page is loading too slow, the layout is sloppy, or the message unclear, people are far less likely to complete the journey on your landing page!
